Mining Safety Board The New Mexico Mining Safety Board (MSB) promulgates the rules that affect the mining industry in the State of New Mexico. The State Mine Inspector, Terence Foreback, is an ex-officio member of the board and is charged with the coordination of the MSB. The next board meeting will be: August 26, 2010 Rulemaking will continue in 2010. Revision of the penalty structure is considered and rules regarding tracking, communications and SCSR deployment may be considered. Related Information:
